Zach Gilford will be back on FOX next season.
The Mob Doctor stars Jordana Spiro as a young female thoracic surgeon who becomes indebted to the South Chicago mafia and is forced to moonlight as a “mob doctor” while also working full-time at Chicago’s most prominent hospital.
Zach will be Brett Robinson, a doctor.
Drop Dead Diva’s Josh Berman and Robert Wright penned the pilot and will executive produce alongside Michael Dinner, who directed. William Forsythe, James Carpinello, Jesse Lee Soffer and Jamie Lee Kirchner also star.
Tim: I’m hopin’ we get somethin’ over that fire tonight. So keep the eyes peeled. Light feet.
Matt: What kind of things you think we — we gonna get?
Tim: White tail. Boar.
[Matt kneels down and starts shooting. Tim falls to the ground]
Tim: 7, stop!
Matt: What?
Tim: What was it?
Matt: What—I—I don’t—I don’t know.
Tim: What do you mean you don’t know? The wind?
Matt: Well I thought — I thought I saw somethin’ but I think it — I think it might have been the wind.
Tim: So you sho — Give me that. [takes the gun from Matt]
Matt: Hey!
Tim: No gun. No gun!
Matt: Really? Come on, let me have my gun back!
Zach Gilford has a new pilot! It's a medical thing again but not in the jungle.
The cast of Friday Night Lights is having quite a pilot season.
Former FNL good guy Zach Gilford has been tapped to co-star in Fox’s untitled Josh Berman medical drama, The Hollywood Reporter has learned exclusively.
From the creator of Drop Dead Diva, the project centers on Grace Devlin (Jordana Spiro), a young thoracic surgeon who becomes indebted to the South Chicago mafia and is forced to moonlight as a “mob doctor” while also working full time at Chicago’s most prominent hospital.
Gilford will play Dr. Brett Robinson, a handsome blueblood who works alongside Grace. William Forsythe, James Carpinello, Jesse Lee Soffer and Jamie Lee Kirchner co-star.
Berman will write and executive produce the Sony Pictures Television drama alongside his Drop Dead Diva counterpart Robert Wright. Michael Dinner will exec produce and direct the pilot, which will film in Chicago.
